Jacques From Dusk

Hi, I’m Jacques from Dusk.

Back in 2012, I found myself following in my father’s footsteps when he handed me a camera one day and said, “There’s an event you need to cover.” Suddenly, I was in the middle of an event with zero experience, trying to figure out what I was doing!

That moment sparked my passion for storytelling through video, leading me to start Jacques Studios. I learned everything on my own, capturing weddings until 2019. Along the way, I discovered a love for creating content for social media, especially for restaurants, where my creativity could thrive.

Fast forward to 2022, and that’s when DUSK was born. It’s grown into so much more than just a studio—it’s now home to:

• Dusk Socials: A social media agency and content creation company.
• Dusk Events: Focused on wedding videography.
• DUSK Mena: Specializing in TV commercials, music videos, Documentaries and production.

To me, DUSK isn’t just a business. It’s a place where people with a passion for photography, videography, and art can come to learn, explore, and grow. I’ve been there—starting out solo and figuring it all out the hard way. That’s why I’m committed to giving others the opportunity I never had, offering a space to learn for free, use our gear, and build their skills.

I believe in collaboration, not competition. DUSK isn’t like other companies because we’re always open to new ideas, partnerships, and working together. The only limit I have? My imagination.
